Château Badette

This estate was acquired in 2012 by Marc Vandenbogaerde who set out to do all that he could to produce the best wine possible from this laudable terroir. The vineyard covers 9 hectares in a single block between St Christophe des Bardes and the town of St Emilion. To this is added another parcel of 0.5 hectares next door to Château Figeac. Soils are complex and reflect a variety of geological personalities. A tremendous work has been carried out both in the vineyard and in the cellar since the acquisition. This has paid off as the estate is one of the few, that was awarded Grand Cru Classé by the Saint-Emilion wines classification in 2022. We couldn’t be prouder of this estate that we haven’t stop defending since its rebirth!
